David Swisher is an AI Trainer & Consultant and educational technology specialist with over 24 years of experience in higher education. He serves as Director of Online Services at Kingswood University and recently trained over 5,500 T-Mobile employees nationwide on Enterprise ChatGPT. He has trained hundreds of faculty on generative AI tools and is a Faculty Mentor for the AAC&U Institute on AI, Pedagogy & the Curriculum. His recent book Early Warning: How to Lead with Wisdom in Times of Technological Disruption (Invite Press, 2025) addresses navigating disruptive technology. He holds a doctorate in Semiotics & Future Studies from George Fox University.
