About me
Kim Sherwood is the Director of Customer Service & Engagement at Emporia State University, leading IT Help Desk operations and campus-wide service initiatives. She has over 20 years experience in K–12 and higher education technology and has modernized service delivery using Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, specializing in Teams and SharePoint. She brings a user-centered approach to her work, improving support and accessibility through knowledge base development. Kim is an Emporia native, a graduate of Flint Hills Technical College, and serves on the Regents ITSA and RITC CHECK committees.
