About me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Program at Emporia State University (PhD and MA in Sociology; MS in Clinical Psychology). I direct the Harmony Center, my research and outreach program focused on student and community mental health and well-being. My teaching centers arounds mental, physical, and emotional wellness, with an emphasis on student engagement and meaningful learning, and practical application. I focus on course designs that supports autonomy and connection. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time in nature and exploring practices that support holistic well-being. I am committed to cultivating compassion, empathy, and positive change.
